1. Introduction

    Welcome to Marso Studio’s tufted rug workshops! Before participating, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions. By attending our workshop, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.

    2. Safety

      Safety is our utmost priority. Participants must follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by Marso Studio staff. Please handle all materials and machinery with care to prevent accidents or injuries. Use protective gear, such as gloves and mask protection, when necessary. Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

      3. Materials

        We use high-quality materials, including cotton canvas and sheep wool, in our workshops. Please be mindful of waste and use materials responsibly. Avoid unnecessary waste and dispose of materials properly in designated bins. Respect the environment and fellow participants by maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the workshop space.

        4. Machinery

          Participants are responsible for using machinery properly and safely. Follow all instructions provided by Marso Studio staff regarding the operation of machinery. Report any malfunction or damage to machinery immediately to a staff member. Do not attempt to repair or modify machinery without proper authorization.

          5. Workshop Conduct

            Respect the rights and safety of others. Harassment or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Follow workshop schedules and instructions provided by Marso Studio staff. Ask for assistance if you need help or clarification on any aspect of the workshop. Avoid distractions that may compromise safety or disrupt the workshop experience for others.

            6. Liability

              Marso Studio is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during the workshop. Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being while attending the workshop. By participating in the workshop, you agree to release Marso Studio from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses incurred.

              7. Photography and Media

                Marso Studio may take photographs or videos during the workshop for promotional or educational purposes. By attending the workshop, you consent to the use of your likeness in such materials unless otherwise specified in writing.

                8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

                  Cancellations or date change requests must be made at least 7 days before the workshop date. Cancellations within 7 days of the workshop or failure to attend will result in the full fee being retained. Rescheduling is subject to availability and also requires at least 7 days’ notice. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your booking to another participant by notifying us in writing with their details.

                  9. Special Conditions for Off-Site Workshops (e.g., Graz)

                  Off-site workshops involve significant costs for travel, accommodation, and materials. Once preparations have begun (including material purchases and travel bookings), cancellations or rescheduling are not possible. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another participant by notifying Marso Studio in writing.

                  10. Payments and Refunds

                  Workshop fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. Refunds are only available in line with the cancellation policy. If Marso Studio cancels a workshop due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or force majeure, participants will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer to another available date.

                  11. Personal Belongings

                  Marso Studio is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought to the workshop. Please keep valuables with you at all times.

                  12. Intellectual Property

                  All workshop content, including teaching materials, methods, and designs, remain the intellectual property of Marso Studio. These may not be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

                  13. Modifications

                  Marso Studio reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms and conditions will be communicated to participants via email or posted on our website.

                  15. Acceptance of Terms

                  Participants are required to read and sign these Terms and Conditions prior to attending the workshop.
